Crosspoint announces the launch of Crossmedia, a new business line by Crosspoint focused on the integration of OTT solutions for broadcasters, telcos, and online video brands and companies.
Crossmedia is the link between broadcast and OTT platforms. It is the point of confluence between television, IP networks and digital media, focusing on online video environments based on cloud solutions.
With 25 years of experience in the world of audiovisual engineering, Crossmedia is an evolution in the digital area of Crosspoint, a reference company in the distribution of products and solutions in the broadcast market in Spain.
Crossmedia‘s vocation is to connect the traditional broadcast with the online environment, and offer comprehensive solutions for the creation of online video platforms, orchestration of workflows for content and metadata, organization of business and monetization rules, user management and tools of Big Data analytics, and content distribution through CDN.
Crossmedia is the result of Crosspoint‘s commitment to digital transformation, an area where it has been working intensely for several years on very important projects such as the comprehensive OTT solution of Valencian television À Punt, or more recently with clients such as TV3 or the Teatro Real. All this activity has been possible thanks to the technical and human specialization of Crosspoint, the incorporation of new resources and the collaboration of leading brands such as Brightcove or Fastly, among others, brands that it represents and distributes in Spain as an official partner. The official presentation of Crossmedia will take place on December 4 on the occasion of the celebration of a special event where the 25th anniversary of Crosspoint will be celebrated.
