Miranda Technologies, via their spanish distributor CROSSPOiNT, has just supplied one Kaleido-IP to Axión for their new project, which involves the monitoring of the broadcasted signal return into their internal over-IP video network. It is done from their headquarter in Valencina de la Concepción (Seville).
As a supplier of this project, CROSSPOiNT has delivered and configured one Kaleido-IP to AXIÓN with the necessary licenses to monitor SD and HD signals tuned in their broadcast center.
The aim is AXIÓN be able to monitor with a high quality tool such as the Miranda Kaleido successful series, the presence and quality of TV broadcasting services which it provides to its customers in the coverage area of Valencina transmitter and have a flexible and tailored to their needs. It also was required to have video monitoring screens vertical instead of horizontal format.
The standard equipment consists of a Kaleido-IP frame, configured to monitor a total of 15 SD and 1 HD channels with their corresponding audio services, plus other radio channels. CROSSPOiNT also supplied receiver DVB-T with transport stream IP output that delivers to the monitoring system.
Along with the mentioned Kaleido-IP, Miranda Technologies completes its product range of IP management, processing and monitoring with EdgeVision (remote monitoring of set-top boxes with infrared control) and Axino (loudness processor with over-IP video inputs and outputs).
